Clippable
Effective June 23, 2026
Clippable is an AI marketing assistant that helps you create content and run advertising on the platforms you connect. When you publish content or run ads through Clippable, you are the advertiser and publisher, and you are responsible for complying with the Federal Trade Commission's rules and all other applicable advertising and consumer-protection laws. This page explains those responsibilities and Clippable's limited role.
Clippable provides tooling (content generation, scheduling, publishing, and ad campaign management), but it does not create endorsements, set your claims, or control your campaigns. The accounts you connect are yours, the budgets are billed to you by the ad platforms, and the decisions about what to publish and promote are yours. Accordingly, you are responsible for ensuring your advertising is truthful, substantiated, properly disclosed, and lawful in every jurisdiction where it appears.
Under the FTC Act, advertising must be truthful, not misleading, and supported by evidence. You are responsible for substantiating all product, performance, pricing, health, and financial claims before they run. Do not publish false guarantees, exaggerated results, fake reviews, or deceptive practices. Endorsements and testimonials must reflect honest, real experiences.
Where the law or a platform requires disclosure, it must be clear, conspicuous, and hard to miss, not buried in hashtags, hidden behind "more," or placed only in comments. Common situations include:
For video, disclosures should appear in the caption and, where possible, on screen and in audio, since many viewers watch without sound.
You must comply with the advertising and content policies of every platform you connect (Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, and others), including their rules on prohibited products, targeting, and disclosures. You may not target advertising at minors or other prohibited audiences, and you must honor opt-outs and obtain any consents required for your own marketing.
Clippable is a technology provider, not an advertising agency, media buyer, or law firm. We do not approve, endorse, or verify the legality of your content, claims, or campaigns, and we do not assume any of your advertising obligations. We may provide optional prompts, reminders, or checks to help you, but those do not transfer responsibility to us.
YOU AGREE THAT CLIPPABLE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FTC OR OTHER REGULATORY VIOLATIONS, PENALTIES, OR LEGAL ACTIONS ARISING FROM YOUR CONTENT, CLAIMS, OR CAMPAIGNS, AND YOU WILL INDEMNIFY CLIPPABLE FOR THEM AS SET OUT IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
You remain solely responsible for complying with all advertising, endorsement, and consumer-protection laws in the jurisdictions where your content is distributed. Using Clippable to create or run advertising constitutes your acknowledgment of these obligations. For the full terms, see our Terms of Service.
