Clippable is an AI marketing assistant that, on your instruction, creates content and runs advertising on the accounts you connect. This page explains how Clippable accesses third-party platform data, what data is involved, and how Clippable complies with each platform's developer policies and terms of service.
Clippable does not scrape data. All third-party platform data is accessed exclusively through official, approved developer APIs using OAuth-based authorization. You explicitly grant Clippable permission and the specific scopes during the connection flow, and you can disconnect at any time.
Core principles that govern all platform data access:

How We Access It
Sign in with Google uses the openid, email, and profile scopes only. It does not grant access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service. Connecting Google Ads or YouTube (below) is a separate, explicit authorization.

With the adwords scope you grant, Clippy creates, edits, pauses, and manages Search, Display, and YouTube campaigns on your instruction, and reads performance so it can report results and suggest changes. Ad spend is billed by Google directly to your own Google Ads account.

With the openid, profile, email, and w_member_social scopes, Clippy publishes posts you approve. Where LinkedIn's Advertising API is enabled (r_ads, rw_ads, r_ads_reporting), Clippy creates, manages, and reports on ad campaigns. We also use LinkedIn's public Ad Library API for competitive research.
