Platform & Third-Party Data Compliance

Effective June 23, 2026

Clippable is an AI marketing assistant that, on your instruction, creates content and runs advertising on the accounts you connect. This page explains how Clippable accesses third-party platform data, what data is involved, and how Clippable complies with each platform's developer policies and terms of service.

Clippable does not scrape data. All third-party platform data is accessed exclusively through official, approved developer APIs using OAuth-based authorization. You explicitly grant Clippable permission and the specific scopes during the connection flow, and you can disconnect at any time.

Core principles that govern all platform data access:

  • Access only through official APIs with approved developer credentials
  • User-authorized via each platform's official OAuth flow, with no unauthorized access
  • Minimum necessary scopes: only what the enabled capability requires
  • Actions taken only on your instruction; Clippable does not fund or control ad spend
  • No data resale, no unrelated advertising use, and no training of generalized AI models on platform data
  • You can disconnect accounts and revoke access at any time

Google Sign-In

API Used

Google OpenID Connect (Sign in with Google)

Google Sign-In Developer Policy ↗

Data Accessed

  • Your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier
  • Used only to authenticate you and create or sign you into your Clippable account

How We Access It

Sign in with Google uses the openid, email, and profile scopes only. It does not grant access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or any other Google service. Connecting Google Ads or YouTube (below) is a separate, explicit authorization.

Compliance Commitments

  • Only identity scopes are requested for sign-in
  • No access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts, or other Google data via sign-in
  • You can revoke access anytime from your Google Account security settings

Google API Limited Use Disclosure

Clippable's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, Clippable does not use Google user data to train generalized or foundation AI/ML models, does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising unrelated to your authorized actions, and only transfers it as necessary to provide or improve the features you use, for security, or to comply with applicable law.

User Controls & Data Revocation

You have full control over which platforms are connected to your Clippable account. At any time, you may:

  • Disconnect a platform from Clippable's Connectors page, which immediately revokes Clippable's access
  • Revoke Clippable's app authorization from the platform's own security settings (e.g., Google Account permissions, TikTok Connected Apps)
  • Request deletion of your stored data by contacting privacy@clippable.io

Note: disconnecting a platform or revoking authorization will stop Clippy from publishing, advertising, or reporting on that platform.

Our Commitment Against Unauthorized Data Collection

Clippable prohibits and does not engage in:

  • Web scraping or automated data extraction from any platform outside of official APIs
  • Using browser automation, headless browsers, or similar tools to access platform data
  • Accessing platform data on behalf of users who have not explicitly authorized Clippable
  • Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or technical measures implemented by any platform
  • Aggregating platform data for sale, licensing, or any use not described to users at the time of authorization

Any suspected violation of this commitment should be reported to legal@clippable.io.
